Troubleshoot Your Guernsey CER submission

Below are some examples of common errors which are returned from the Government after a failed submission attempt.
| Error | Cause | Solution |
| InvalidEmployerData | The employer's Social Security Number, Tax Reference and Name are not consistent with any employer known to the Revenue Service. | Contact the Government employers team to confirm the Organisation details, update the organisation record in Ocerli. Once updated you can re attempt the submission. |
| PayPeriodNotCovered | The employee's pay period is not one of those listed in the coverage section of the return. | Contact support@ocerli.com for further assistance. |
| PensionSchemeIDNotFound | The Pension scheme ID for this employee has not been reported. | Contact support@ocerli.com for further assistance. |
| OccupationCodeInvalid | The employee occupation code is not a valid code according to the list at https://www.gov.gg/ocodes. | Please correct the employee's occupation code and re-load the submissions data before attempting to reprocess the return. |
| DuplicatePayRecord | There are duplicate pay records for the employee for a particular period. | Contact support@ocerli.com for further assistance. |
