Add New Working Hours Pattern

This guide explains how to create a new working hours pattern for an organisation.

 

Top Tips!

  • A zero-hour working hours pattern must have the number of hours set to 1 so the system can calculate the salary correctly on the payslip.

  • If you select Allow Proration, this will apply to any employee assigned to that working hours pattern. Proration is used when you have a calculated salary pay element, such as Salary (Calculated).

    This enables the system to calculate an employee’s salary if they have left or joined partway through a pay period. This is based on the number of working days in the pay period. To use proration, you must specify the working days in the week.
